Walnut Island Steals the Show
View the project spotlightWhen the homeowners moved in in 2012, they knew knowing the kitchen was going to need some major work to make it feel like home. The entrance into the basement jutted out too far into the room, which made it impossible to have an island. Counter space was at a minimum, while the cabinets, appliances and floor were all in rough shape. Overall, it just didn’t function well or look good. This kitchen was completely reimagined to create more usable space, storage, and room for a large, custom walnut island.
