Kitchen and Baths
This renovation opened up and reimagined the home’s main living spaces, transforming a closed-off kitchen into a bright, welcoming hub. When removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room the team discovered and repaired old fire damage by reinforcing the structure for safety and longevity. The redesigned layout features relocated doorways and new French doors, flooding the space with natural light. The honed soapstone countertop has subtle veining and adds a unique touch. A mudroom area was added and the half bath adjacent to the kitchen was updated with a classic design. Upstairs, two rooms were reconfigured to create a more functional layout, including a new washer/dryer closet. Though the bathroom is slightly smaller, the changes improved the flow and usability of an adjacent bedroom which can now be used as a nursery.
